His design genius was innovative but not tasteless – wild but not bizarre.

Unfortunately, on March 15, 1995, he was arrested and subsequently sentenced to life in prison. For someone that has never been in trouble with the law, his life changed completely, and it was a rude awakening.
It was there in prison, serving a life sentence when one day while meditating on his past and present, that he decided to start painting.

Since he had no access to vehicles, he switched to canvas and began to experiment with colors and materials. Before he knew it, he was creating one-of-a-kind abstracts.
Roly also began to realize how good he felt creating again through painting. It was this activity that allowed him to experience a sense of freedom while serving a life sentence in prison.
Now that he has regained his freedom, Roly wants to share his passion for art and continue to create.
